Accounting Supply Chain and logistic Job posting •Initial setup of export/import shipments. •Booking & coordination of most cost effective and efficient means to import/export goods within expected requirements. •Data entry. •Process and correct miscellaneous accounting issues. •Ensure the Stakeholder is provided excellent service throughout the shipment process including quick response to inquiries and problem resolution. •Close shipments and filing. •Tracks shipments to ensure timely product release and receipt. · Work closely with our 3PL, Sourcing, Manufacturing Operations, Product Management, and other internal stakeholders, to identify, analyze, and pursue strategic opportunities. · coordinating the physical flow of imports from origins to final destination, performing business analysis and maintaining ETA inbound visibility, including managing data quality, resolving data issues with logistics trading partners, training of prospective users, on boarding of new logistics providers, and creating and analyzing reports from ETA. •Coordinate the physical flow of goods, including exception management, re-routing, expediting, and other actions, to meet expected lead times or other customer service requirements. •Perform business analyses to help Distribution team set logistics policies, and procedures. •Maintain an acceptable level of data quality; identifying data discrepancies (e.g. timeliness, completeness, and accuracy) and collaborate directly with logistics providers to resolve them. •Create and analyze data quality reports from logistic partners; collaborate with internal clients and logistics providers, as needed to perform root cause analyses. •Play active role in identifying and pursuing continuous improvement opportunities •Strong comfort level with numbers and shipment processes, from origin through destination •Provide daily, weekly, monthly, & quarterly analysis on current inventory trend and impact to the bottom line •Ensure warehouses maintain proper inventory levels & manage product appropriately across the supply chain Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or the equivalent of experience and evidence of exceptional ability. •Minimum of five (5) years of international and/or domestic logistics / operational experience – either on the shipper side or with a service provider (e.g. 3PL, forwarder, carrier, etc.) •Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel •Excellent interpersonal skills. Good organizational and communication skills, effective project and time management skills, and able to work well under pressure. •Knowledge of general freight forwarding terms and standards •Basic knowledge of accounting functions and relative information retrieval.
