I will like to give this company zero stars, but i decided to give one to the hotels we have had stayed during our trip. Our bus was 54 seaters and they were 54 passengers Our guide, Hugo Du during our US and Canada tour in July 2014 was not sensible at all and showed no sympathy. He was cruel, rude and heartless towards his customer. He do not treated his customers like humans. I am an international traveler with my family and we were very disappointed to see such unpleasant scenes there everyday.

One of our group members, another international passengers (a lady in her 60s) was travelling with her daughter with us. She was very sick when i met her and I was told that she was not feeling good even before reaching New York.

I overheard her daughter asking the guide if there were any pharmacy stores around one of the morning for her mother's sudden illness. He just carelessly replied that pharmacies were not be opened at such early hours but NO FOLLOW thereafter.

She was very sick during the trip. The daughter told me that that she was always vomitting & sleeping and have had not been eating for few days due to bad appetite. I could see that she was always looking for a place to sit instead of sightseeing around. While group members were in Metropolitan museum of Arts, they visited the pharmacy nearby by taxi with the kind assistance from the staff in the Museum, which is supposed to be the guide's responsibility.

One incident when the guide was telling eveybody regarding one of the buffet dinners which cost US$16 per person at Ruby buffet. As the mother has not appetite to eat anything, they though that buffet dinner might not be a suitable choice. The daughter attempted to ask the guide if both of them could choose to have somewhere else to have their dinner nearby. The conversation in Mandarin goes like that

guide:(after the explanation about the buffet) any problem?
daughter: Mother has no appetite.
guide: don't eat if you have no appetite. When you take dinner at the Mcdonald's you pay $10 but only entitled to have one choice, but at a buffet restaurant, you can have many.

Then he started to repeat all his theories again and that's ended a unanswered question with uncompleted and unsatisfied answer.

As we are all international travellers, we paid a large sum to be here and joined such a tour... While you may think a meal that costs US$10 or US20 but we do not really bother much.... Our air-ticket costs us a few thousand EACH! Both of us booked our sit-in-coach tour at our countries and we paid premium prices for that, and finally we got such monkey to be with us.

I would recall that before we move to Philadelphia, he repeated both in moderate Mandarin and poor command in English, 'If you are unhappy about anything, please inform us as we are unable to read your mind. My family and I though that there was a big difference with what he have done earlier and what he have said later. Is he trying to bully his PAYING customers?!?!?

There were a Taiwanese family whom owned a wheelchair in the same bus. They voluntarily let the mother use the wheelchair to move about. but the driver and the guide were too lazy to bring down.... Sometimes they would give excuses by saying the facility will have wheel-chair rental services or in another case, stairs were available so wheelchair would be hard to move about. However the mother was not eating anything for few days due to no appetite and she was vomiting very often so she did not have any strengths to walk for even a few steps under the hot sun. She was not physically handicapped so she could walk 2-3 steps (ups or downs) and return to the wheel-chair again. Making a very sick person standing under the hot sun ... it was very unforgivable. I feel really pitied and angry to see the suffering she has had to go through the few days.

Some passengers were very nice by helping them to get the wheel-chair from the luggage space for the mother and i believe the guide felt guilty so he finally did something AFTER a few days.....

In the US, when a bus stopped its engine, no passengers should be inside the bus but i heard him SHOUTING loudly at the mother and daughter rudely to alight from the bus. Of course, the mother alighted from the bus, but what if she has had a fall after that or have had something bad happened? Is the monkey guide or your company going to bear such responsibility? I feel that the guide should have called the company for advice before taking any action. I doubt the guide is really capable enough to take good action or any responsibility for any consequences.

There were optional tours and meals but people whom were not taking the group dinner would need to wait for the eaters. So their dinner would be after arriving at the hotels late every nights.

As the mother was not well, the daughter joined some optional tours which she did not want initially but there were no places for the mother to sit or lie down. I believe that the filial daughter was just paying a PREMIUM cost for her temporary little comfort. SO this is your services??

After a couple of days together they told us that they have ran out of medication but they were still not well. The guide could actually spare a bit of the time to allow them to stop at some pharmacies but he DO NOTHING AT ALL.

There are a lot of other cases which is not included here but HUGO DU is a very UNHELPFUL person.... may i know are all your people same in this company?

Just like the mother and the daughter, nobody want to be sick especially during traveling. He was trying to bully them all the way. I asked the daughter if they paid tips for the tour. She replied "of course I will do it based on the rules but no additional this time". I told them that "no service not money" but the mother and daughter were really kind hearted even though they were bullied all the time by this cruel and bad-hearted tour guide.

The tour ended. I believe the mother and daughter would really hope it would end earlier and it is definitely their worst experience in their life I personally feel a very SINCERE APOLOGY is essential from HUGO to our group members personally.
